An Elmod modernisation of an existing lift gives all the benefits of a brand-new lift without the downtime, cost, noise, dust and disruption to the building.
Less disruption
Lift replacement can be an expensive and disruptive process and often building owners are left disappointed by the result. Hammer drilling for many weeks is necessary to re-install the rails and shaft equipment that was removed in the demolition process. Door frames often need to be cut out and building works are required to finish to the new door frames. This often leaves lobbies looking “patched up” as materials to match lobby decoration may be no longer available.
